Bleasdales Limited offer a comprehensive valuation service for all antiques and fine art as well as valuations for sewing tools and accessories. We are always happy to help with any enquiry and there are several ways in which we can provide valuations depending on your particular requirements but currently the COVID 19 pandemic has placed some restrictions on this service.
We provide free valuations by post, email or telephone. To offer an accurate auction estimate, you will need to send us photographs of your object and as much written detail as you can. If you provide us with your telephone details and email we will send a prompt response with an estimated value.
In normal circumstances, for larger collections, we are happy to make home visits wherever you are in the country. If you then proceeded to sell with us we would waive any travelling or consultation fees. During the COVID 19 pandemic, we are however abiding by all UK Government advisory and regulatory conditions with regards to social distancing measures and this means home visits are currently not possible.
We can conduct valuations overseas but no direct visits will take place during the COVID 19 pandemic - if circumstances change and the advice from the UK Government alters accordingly we will review our current policy. In general terms an initial assessment of overseas property would normally be conducted by phone, post or via email.
Valuations for Insurance and Probate
Our experienced specialists carry out valuations for insurance purposes and probate. These valuations used by insurance professionals and legal practices differ from auction valuations. In these instances, we will provide written valuation documents for a fee. In addition, we can make regular updates to your documentation so that you can adjust your insurance cover to adapt to changing market values.
Our specialists conduct expert valuations for museum and gallery curators, owners of large private collections, and corporate institutions.
