Antique Valuations

Bleasdales Limited offer a comprehensive valuation service for all antiques and fine art as well as valuations for sewing tools and accessories. We are always happy to help with any enquiry and there are several ways in which we can provide valuations depending on your particular requirements.

Free Valuations by Email, Telephone and Post

We provide free valuations by post, email or telephone. In order to give an accurate auction estimate you will need to send us photographs of your object and as much written detail as you can. If you provide us with your telephone details and email we will send a prompt response with an estimated value.

Home visits within the United Kingdom

For larger collections we are happy to make home visits wherever you are in the country. If you then proceed to sell with us we will waive any travelling or consultation fees.

Overseas Valuations

We are delighted to conduct valuations overseas. In general these would be carried out by valuers over the phone, by post or via email. Where appropriate we are able to arrange for a valuer to visit overseas clients.

Valuations for Insurance and Probate

Our experienced specialists carry out valuations for insurance purposes and probate. These valuations used by insurance professionals and legal practises differ from auction valuations. In these instances we will provide written valuation documents for a fee. In addition we can make regular updates to your documentation so that you can adjust your insurance cover to adapt to changing market values.

Valuations for Institutions and Collectors

Our specialists conduct expert valuations for museum and gallery curators, owners of large private collections and corporate institutions.
